Silica Sands and Milled Flours

Hoben are specialists in processing hard minerals, such as Silica, into fine powders.

Silica is milled in our continuous process ball mills. All our mills are fully automated, have Alumina linings and are charged with Alumina grinding media to ensure our materials are free from metal contamination.

Particle sizing is controlled by in-line particle size analysers that continually adjust an in-line classifier giving ultimate consistency within product specification.
